Wheelabrator Technologies UK is a wholly owned business within Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. As such, we specialise in the safe and environmentally sound conversion of municipal solid waste, and other renewable waste fuels into energy.

As we are very new to the European market, we currently do not operate any energy from waste (EfW) facilities in the UK, but we have excellent credentials to do so. That is why we are bidding on a number of proposed EfW plants.

Our parent company, Wheelabrator Technologies Inc., itself a wholly owned subsidiary of Waste Management, successfully operates sixteen EfW plants in the US for a variety of local authorities and city administrations.

We believe this proven experience will be invaluable to those authorities in the UK, who are looking for an effective and reliable solution for dealing with the very pressing problem of converting waste into energy.

The UK management team includes some of the most experienced people in the sector, who understand exactly what local authorities need to make a success of investing in EfW.
